Boots & Barrels
Celebrate Texas Independence Day at Wildcatter Ranch with our annual Boots & Barrels celebration on March 7. This family-friendly event honors Texas heritage with a full day of western tradition, community, and ranch-style fun in the heart of Young County.
The day begins with the John Conner Dedication from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, featuring complimentary hors d’oeuvres as we recognize a meaningful piece of local history. Guests can enjoy Mounted Shooting demonstrations from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with concessions available throughout the afternoon.
As the sun begins to set over the Palo Pinto Mountains, join us for Mountaintop Sunset Worship Music from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, offering a beautiful close to a day rooted in Texas pride and community spirit.
